Bronx, New York
These communication stairs were fabricated and installed in the Bronx Library Center’s main reading room, with an auxiliary utility stair installed nearby.
The communication stairs are built of steel, tile and poured stone, and are framed by glass and steel banisters and wall coverings of blown glass and tiles.
The utility stair handrails are made of stainless steel and stainless steel mesh.
